Travel gear should be the last thing you think about.

The trip is the point. The bag, the cubes and the strap round the case should do their job quietly and let you have it.

Why we started

You have already had this happen.

The zip that splits at the gate. The strap that digs into your shoulder by the second hour. The bottle that leaks into the only clean shirt. The “carry-on” that isn’t, found out at the desk with the queue watching.

We had that bag too. So we built the shop we wanted to pack from: gear picked for what goes wrong on the road, with the sizes, the reviews and the return terms on the page before you buy, not after it arrives.

What we do

Choose travel gear for the trip, not the shelf. We read what travellers say after using a thing, the bad reviews first, and put what we found on the page. We’re a small team, not a test lab, and we won’t pretend otherwise.

What we believe

A shop should be able to prove what it says.

Three rules. You don’t have to take our word for any of them.

Every size has its unit
Centimetres, grams, litres. A spec with a bare number in it (“weight: 12”) stops the whole site from publishing until someone fixes it. Open any product’s specs and look.
The three-star reviews stay up
Every product page shows its full rating breakdown, the ones and threes included, and the reviews as they were written, in the reviewer’s own words.
30 days to change your mind
From the day your order arrives, on anything unused (apparel printed to order is the one exception). Faulty or wrong, we cover it. Changed your mind, you pay the return postage, and we would rather say so now than at the counter. The full policy.

What it costs us

Every one of these rules has lost us a sale.

A three-star review on a product page loses the shopper who reads it. Saying up front that a change-of-mind return is at your cost loses a few more. A missing unit holds back every page on the site until somebody measures the thing properly.

We keep them anyway, because a shop you can check beats one you have to believe. The sale we lose today is a trip that doesn’t start with the wrong bag.
