BonVoyage started because one of us spent a week in Portugal digging through a suitcase every single morning. Not a dramatic origin. Just an annoying one, repeated often enough to do something about.

Did it survive a real trip?

Every product on this site went somewhere before it got a page. If a zip snagged, a strap dug in, or a bottle leaked into someone's laundry, it did not make the cut — and a few things didn't. We are a small team, so this is not a lab. It is people packing their own bags and reporting back.

What survives tends to be simple: light, durable, and easy to find in a dark cabin.

How we choose

Three checks, then a page

Nothing goes on a page until it passes all three.

One — someone actually wants it

It has to solve a problem we've hit ourselves, or that customers keep emailing about. "It would sell" is not a reason on its own.

Two — it has a track record

We only list products that have already sold in volume, with real reviews behind them, and we read those reviews, the bad ones first. We look for the failure, not the photo.

Three — we show you what we found

Every review sits on the product page word for word, complaints included. If the smallest cube is smaller than you'd expect, you read it there rather than finding out in a hotel room.

We're young. We'd rather say that than borrow the language of a fifty-year-old luggage house. What we can promise is the shipping window, the return policy, and a human on the other end of the email.

Gear that adds weight has to earn it twice. Nothing here needs an app to work.

Say the trade-off

Every product has one. Custom prints can't be returned. Compression saves space, not weight. We'd rather tell you now.

Every traveller counts

First trip abroad or hundredth. Hostel or hotel. We don't do gatekeeping about who's a "real" traveller.

No pressure tactics

No fake countdowns, no invented original prices. If something's discounted, it was genuinely that price before.

What we sell

Six shelves, and that is the shop

104 products in total — 84 pieces of travel gear and 20 apparel designs printed to order.

Apparel is printed after you order, so it takes 2–4 days to print before dispatch and may ship separately from gear. Custom prints are final sale — the size guide is there to make sure the size is right first time.

Getting it to you

We ship to 28+ countries

Free worldwide shipping on orders over $60, a flat $5.95 below that. Orders are packed and dispatched in 1–2 business days.

In transit it is 3–5 business days in the US, 5–8 to the UK and EU, 6–10 to Australia and New Zealand, and 8–14 to the rest of the world. Duties are shown at checkout so nothing extra is charged on arrival.

Thirty days to return anything unused in its original packaging, and if it is faulty or wrong, we cover the cost. The help pages have the full detail.
